Whether your child already loves singing, dancing, and acting, or could just use an opportunity to explore who they are and make new friends in a positive environment, Stage Kids classes are a great way to keep your child growing and laughing this year!
Stage Kids is an educational theater program that focuses on developing character. We see the value of having children develop skills in classes in addition to participating in shows. For this reason, simultaneous enrollment in a class is required while in the cast of a show. Stage Kids knows that kids grow in confidence when they grow in skills!
Our Intro to Theater-1 class provides a supportive, creative environment in which each student can discover and develop their unique strengths and talents. Learning how to get the job is just as important as learning how to do the job! In this workshop students will discover proper audition techniques that show off their best performance self through monologues, cold reads and group work activities. Stage Kids partners with great private vocal instructors to offer one-on-one training as well! In order to have your child's private voice instruction satisfy the class requirement for participation in a Spotlight Production, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Register here. (This registration alone does not enroll your child for private voice lessons.)
Step 2: Arrange private vocal lessons with one of our recommended vocal instructors* or with the vocal instructor of your choice. (You will need to ensure that your child completes 8 separate lessons over the course of 8 weeks.)
Step 3: Submit the Independent Private Instructor Form (which you will receive via email after registration). This form must be filled out by the vocal instructor after the 8 weeks of lessons have been completed. Once the form is complete, please email it to info@stagekidswa.org or mail to Devorah Nelson, PO 1794, Wenatchee, WA 98807. (We will accept a maximum of 10 private instruction students during this fall season.)

Our Class Act is an "informance" for kids to share what they've learned in their classes! In most classes this takes place during the last 15 minutes of their final class. Parents will receive an email with the Class Act information.
We want every child to have the chance to experience the life-giving power of musical theater, so as we are able, we offer scholarships to cover a portion of program registration fees (between 10% - 70%) based on a family's financial need.
To apply for a scholarship you must first register your child(ren) and pay the deposit, then look for the link to apply for a scholarship in your confirmation email! The scholarship deadline for Fall Classes is August 9th. Award notifications will be sent by August 16th.

Stage Kids is an educational theater program that focuses on developing character. We see the value of having children develop skills in classes in addition to participating in shows. For this reason, simultaneous enrollment in a class is required while in the cast of a show. Stage Kids knows that kids grow in confidence when they grow in skills!

The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."

We are thrilled to bring the beloved holiday classic film White Christmas to life this season with a stellar adult cast performing in a dessert-theater experience you won’t want to miss!
Guests will be swept away to a cozy and beautiful barn, seated at round tables and treated to a
fabulous dessert while they enjoy a spectacular performance—just like in the movie!
Unlike Stage Kids’ typical productions featuring local youth learning and growing together, this
production is a fundraiser supporting the growth of Stage Kids programs.
SHOW DATES, TIMES, AND LOCATION
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the show start time to check your coat, find your table, take a photo at our backdrop, and mingle with friends! The show run time is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, including one 20-minute intermission.
The show will take place at the barn event space on the Grace City Church* campus at 277 Melody Lane in Wenatchee.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Before the show and during intermission, guests will enjoy delightful seasonal beverages like: apple cider, cocoa, soda, coffee, and tea. At intermission, guests will be treated to a decadent dessert featuring a variety of delicacies crafted by some of our region’s most talented pastry chefs. SHOW SYNOPSIS
Based on the heartwarming classic film, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas is a holiday favorite for
the whole family! The story follows two World War II veterans and a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to a Christmas stage show. They all end up at a Vermont inn that has fallen on hard times, and when they realize the proprietor is the beloved General from their days in the army, they decide to put on a big show to draw in business.

We want every child to have the chance to experience the life-giving power of musical theater, so as we are able, we offer scholarships to cover a portion of program registration fees (between 10% - 70%) based on a family's financial need.
To apply for a scholarship you must first register your child(ren) and pay the deposit, then look for the link to apply for a scholarship in your confirmation email! The scholarship deadline for Summer Camps is May 9. Award notifications will be sent by May 16.
Kids will love these fun-filled musical theater summer camps! Campers will learn songs, play theater games, learn choreography, do crafts, and more! These are great introductory theatre camps that will help grow a love of theatre and performing in the students. Each showcase camp will create its own mini-show to perform for friends and family on the last day of camp!
Our youngest performers focus on call-and-response style performing with easy and fun songs and stories inspired by favorite children's books like "Interrupting Chicken" and "Giraffes Can't Dance."

Through musical theater classes, camps, productions, and after-school programs, Stage Kids equips our local youth with the life skills, character, and relationships for a bright future of positive impact.

We believe our best hope for the future is our local youth. We cannot solve the challenges they will face, but we can equip them with the life skills, character, and relationships to face those challenges successfully for themselves. Being geographically close to us, we can surround them with a community of support and shared values.
Musical theater is a powerful medium for teaching life skills, developing character, and forming strong relationships. Stage Kids learn and practice self-awareness, confidence, responsibility, empathy, teamwork, creative problem solving, artistry, and much more. Our success is not measured by the number of tickets sold or a flawless performance; we measure our success by the growth each Stage Kid experiences in the process of participating.

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis for all programs. A deposit is required upon registration in order to reserve a space in the program. All cancelation requests must submitted in writing.
All cancellations are subject to a $25 processing fee.
Refunds for classes, shows & camps:
Stage Kids reserves the right to cancel any program that does not meet enrollment requirements.
